We are thrilled to share our exciting journey at the New England North West Regional Business Awards, where we emerged as finalists in five categories and won two prestigious awards! Our success is a testament to our team’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence in allied health care.

Why We Applied for the Awards
Our journey began with encouragement from our practice manager to apply for these awards. As we reviewed the criteria, it became clear that our work not only met but often exceeded the standards. We have made significant progress and are doing some truly impactful work. Additionally, one of our core values is to raise the profile of regional allied health care. Applying for these awards was a perfect opportunity to highlight the incredible work being done in our region.
We submitted detailed applications with specific examples demonstrating how we met the criteria. Our efforts paid off, and we were honored to be named finalists in all five award categories we applied for:
Outstanding Employee:
- Alina Roper, for her significant contributions to complex home modifications and mentoring undergraduate OT students.
- Jessica Edmunda, for her role in developing systems that ensure ease of service delivery and consistency.
- Employer of Choice – Under 20 Employees
- Excellence in Small Business
- Outstanding Business Leader – Under 20 Employees
A Night to Remember
Our team was over the moon when we learned we had achieved finalist status! The anticipation of a night out together to celebrate, build team spirit, and reflect on our achievements added to the excitement. The awards night was not just an event; it was a celebration of our collective hard work and dedication.
Our Wins
We are incredibly proud to announce that we won two awards:
- Outstanding Business Leader – Under 20 Employees
- Employer of Choice – Under 20 Employees
Being recognised as a leader and an employer of choice is a tremendous honor. It validates our efforts and reinforces our commitment to creating a supportive and innovative work environment.
