
An Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessment may also be referred to as an initial needs assessment. Both of these assessment process includes a comprehensive assessment of the current situation for the participant, recent history of injury or illness, their goals, strengths, limitations, pre injury responsibilities, informal and formal support, their home environment and many other factors.
Our experienced team of Occupational therapists can provide these assessments for participants with a variety of conditions and varying stages of injury journey.
Our aim is to gather comprehensive and accurate information to ensure the needs of the participant are clear.
We do this via working closely with the participant their family, treating team, funding body and suppliers.
We work with people with a variety of illnesses and injuries in equipment including:

- Orthopaedic injuries
- Musculoskeletal injuries
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Amputations
- Stroke
- Progressive conditions
- Neurodiverse conditions
- Developmental disabilities
- And many other conditions that require a change in the environment.
