We provide Occupational Therapy, Case Management and Dietitian services for adults with a variety of injuries under a workers compensation claim. This includes (but isn’t limited to) initial needs and activities of daily living assessments, equipment prescription, home modifications, nutritional advise and case management.
We don’t provide return to work services. Our services are more focused on injury related needs to optimise participation, recovery and goals.
We can provide services for Workers Compensation in different ways:
Our Occupational Therapy services include:
- Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessment
- Initial Needs Assessments
- Equipment prescription
- Manual handling assessment, intervention and education
- Home modifications
- Skin and pressure care assessments
Our Case Manager services include:
- Coordinating treatment and rehabilitation needs, as required.
- Assisting with setting goals and breaking down the injury and non injury related needs.
- Devising and submitting requests as per the funding body requirements.
- Arranging, hosting and documenting case conferences with the participant, family and treating team, as required.
- Meeting with the participant, family and treating team as required to ensure optimal recovery and progress and goals.
Our Dietitian services include:
- Weight loss advise
- Wound healing
- Nutrition support for alternative feeding, such as PEG feeding.
- Malnutrition
- Paediatric growth concerns
- Paediatric fussy eating
- Bowel issues
- We are always happy to discuss other requests.
We do not have a work cover provider number and cannot assist with direct return to work requests, however we can provide Activities of Daily Living assessment, home modification, equipment prescription and other occupational therapy requests.
